Hello Ohio,
I have another reason to Be Ohio Proud!
Ohio Winter: [OH-HI-OH WIN-TER] noun - Unpredictable weather patterns found in a particular state in the NE central United States: a part of the Midwest.
As I sit here writing this article, snow flurries are wisping past my window as the sun is threatening to overcome the clouds. I woke up 2 days ago to sunshine and 50+ degree weather. This type of sudden change in weather is not uncommon for Ohio and while it may cause some to grumble, it makes me proud. I am proud that I can wake up one morning and go for a run in shorts and a t-shirt and the very next day I can pick up a sled and hit the hill with my friends and family or go on a snowy hike with my dog!
So, to my fellow Ohioans, from Cleveland, who is getting pounded by snow for the next couple of days (see screen shot below), to my brothers and sisters further south, not everyone can handle this type of unpredictability so lets BE OHIO PROUD that we can handle our crazy winters! Next time you want to grumble, stop and say "hey, this really makes me appreciate the sunny days. I'm thankful for change and four seasons!"
Your optimistic and proud Ohio broheim,
Danny
