Another day, another reminder of why you should Be Ohio Proud! I stopped by my friend Mitch Graham's bike shop last week, BioWheels, to show him the Be Ohio Proud product and he agreed to purchase a test run and will begin selling the product this week! While I was there, he mentioned a very special event that is happening right here in our back yards (for us Cincinnati folk).
The event is a Cyclocross race called the Kings International and will take place on Saturday, Jan 26th 2013 from 8:30am – 5pm at Kingswood Golf Course – 4188 Irwin Simpson Rd Mason, Ohio 45040. For those of you who aren't familiar with cyclocross, it is a form of bike racing that typically takes place in the fall or winter. The races consist of several short laps (1.5-2 miles) and the course features varying surfaces such as pavement, wooded trails, grass, steep hills and obstacles.
The event in and of it self will be extremely exciting! Be Ohio Proud will be there in the afternoon taking in the action and selling some of our amazingly awesome stickers! As if that isn't enough excitement, the event will also host some of the most elite European and U.S. riders - Niels Albert, Radomir Simunek, Joachim Parbo, Ryan Trebon, Tim Johnson, Jonathan Page and Wietse Bosmans.

It is a very unique opportunity to have such elite riders from around the world visit Cincinnati. Mitch is excited to take the visitors on a tour of the city and mentioned that a stop at Taste of Belgium was in order!
Have a great day!
