I look at this church everyday from my family room and it has shown up in a couple of the
Be Ohio Proud photos so I wanted to do a little research on it. I couldn't find a ton, but here's what I did find out...
- The church was built in 1867
- It was formerly known as the Salem German Evangelical Reformed Church or Deutsche Evangelisch Reformierte Salems Kirche
- Services were held in German until the 1930s! I think this is especially cool - love the German roots!
- The
Know Theatre used some space in the church when it started.
