This May holds the 14th annual Theatre Roulette at MadLab! Theatre Roulette is a festival of short plays, and the longest running festival of its kind in Columbus as well! There are three different themed nights: Ladies Night, Local Brew, and Mixed Drinks. While Ladies Night is dedicated to the works of one playwright, Barbara Lindsey, Local Brew includes works of local playwrights, and Mixed Drinks includes works from all over the globe!
Last night was opening night, and I decided to check it out. It was AMAZING. I felt a little bit of each emotion you could possibly think of. The set looked great, the actors and actresses looked stunning, and they put on a very entertaining show! Everyone involved did a fantastic job of putting everything together!
I plan on going back to see more, and I’m personally excited to see what local playwright, Jeremy Sony, has to offer during Local Brew night!
