Every Memorial Day weekend since 1979 downtown Cincinnati has played host to Taste of Cincinnati. As the nation's longest running culinary arts festival, it's been a staple in the Queen City for the last 35 years. It has also become one of the nation's largest street festivals with an average of about 500,000 attendees! I think those numbers speak for themselves!

This weekend is bound to be awesome-there are 40 different restaurants that will be represented there, which means 120 dishes to try! The event is completely free to get into, but you have to pay for your own food and drinks (and more than likely for parking as well). Totally worth it in my opinion because not only is there tons of food and beer, but they also have a great line-up of music and comedy that will take place over the entire weekend! This year is cool too because the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company is giving free tours of its brewery including the new tap room!
The event opens tomorrow, Saturday the 25th, at noon and will be open until midnight! Same hours run on Sunday the 26th, and on Monday the 27th they are open from noon-9 pm. It takes place on Fifth Street, from Race to Broadway. This is definitely worth checking out for all of you who love to eat great food and drink good beer! Check out their website for some more information on who the vendors will be and what the best dishes are to try! I know I will down there for at least a couple hours this weekend! Bring down the friends and family and show your Ohio pride!
