The Wagnalls Memorial
, located in Lithopolis, Ohio, was born May 30th, 1925. Wagnalls is a beautiful stone building with a ton of character, that has aided so many people in learning and embracing culture. Growing up in Canal Winchester, only 5 minutes away from the library, I found myself at this library quite often, and continue to admire this building.
Wagnalls, besides offering books, video, newspapers, and magazines, offers a museum with the original Norman Rockwells and much more! Wagnalls also offers some amazing scholarship opportunities!
Wagnalls Memorial holds a lot of theatre events and programs as well! Such as, Japanese Theatre Kabuki camp, Greek half day camp, Play in a Day camp, and Scene-a-palooza camp!
If reading isn’t really your thing (if this is true, I’m amazed that you’re reading this!), then at least stop by Wagnalls Memorial to admire the beautiful exterior of the building, as well as the gorgeous garden and walkways!
Wagnalls Memorial would greatly appreciate any help that you may be able to give to their Legacy Campaign.
Go read a book, Ohio proud people!
