If you find yourself in Ohio this summer, make sure to check out the Indian Run Falls. This beautiful hidden gem is located in the city of Dublin, just northwest of Columbus. Formerly the home of the Wyandot tribe, this beautiful park sits almost in the center of Ohio.
The small park is filled with many well-maintained and easily accessible trails that provide for a simple and family friendly hike through the beautiful Ohio landscape. These trails guide you through the amazing scenery as you follow the stream leading up to the falls.
The Indian Run Falls waterfall is located inside a small gorge and sits about fifteen feet tall, and is surrounded by lush woods and a beautiful stream. The gorgeous waterfall and stream eventually spill into the Scioto River, which flows south through Ohio until uniting with the Ohio River. There are several observation decks above the falls, which lend themselves for a beautiful view of the falls and the stream below. Feeling adventurous? Take the road less traveled, and climb your way down to the falls to get an up close look. Either way, we promise you’ll be presented with a gorgeous view, and surrounded by the lush green Ohio woods. And if one waterfall isn't enough for you, go check out Hayden Falls, less than four miles away!
